Just a quick post - I've booked to see Midge Ure at The Lowry in Salford in December and I'm really excited. I've seen Midge several times before and he is really a superb live artist. Go along if you can!

I took this photo at The Burnley Mechanics Institute around 3 years ago, during a great concert there.

Gareth and I have had a busy few days...we photographed a lovely family on Friday, then shot Jenny and Lee's wedding on Saturday and Julie and Steve's wedding on Sunday. I'll upload more later, but in the meantime here is the final shot of the weekend!

Gillian and Antony's Wedding

Gillian and Antony have been together for ten years! Their wedding was certainly worth waiting for. I spent 12 hours with them, from Sedgwick's in Blackburn, the hairdressers, in the morning to after the first dance at The Pines Hotel in Chorley - and what an amazing venue that was! There were some beautiful children in attendance, too!

Summer? Pah!!!

I'm getting fedup with all this rain!! We have Gillian and Antony's wedding tomorrow and I want it to be nice for them!

Anyway, to cheer us all up here's an image from a wedding at The Mere Court Hotel in Cheshire last April when it was warm and sunny and DRY!!

Here are just a few more images from the model shoot with Chloe. The kids in the background are often to be found in the skatepark in Great Harwood and didn't mind helping out with Chloe's model shoot.
The guy upside down in the air, Danny, somersaulted backwards from a 12' high wall. He landed on his feet - pretty awesome stuff!

Cath and Mike's Engagement shoot

Cath and Mike are getting married in August and have just booked me to photograph their wedding. Cath wanted a memoryboard with her horse, Sinead, so we braved the wilds of Langho this morning and got some great shots:

I have a lovely little friend, Miss Kahlilla Blyss. I've never met her - she lives on Phillip Island in Australia.

Lill is just 5 years old and has spent over half her little life fighting a terrible disease, neuroblastoma.

For anyone who needs an uplifting read, I thoroughly recommend her website.

I've just received a lovely card through the post...from Andy and Mel who got married 18 months ago, then had a sad time as Andy's mum wasn't well, then died. It took a while to choose their album pix because of this, but we eventually got their Graphibook to them.
To Andy and Mel - you were a pleasure to work with on your big day. Thank you so much for your very kind words and lovely card!

The third wedding of the weekend was Andrea and Neil. We had a tall order - when they booked in January this year, this is what they had to say: "Neil and I would love to book you for our wedding on12th July. We thought your albums were the nicest we had seen and that your past experience at StanleyHouse really showed in the lovely pictures." Gareth, assisted by Lesley from WOW Photography had a great day at the imposing Stanley House. Here are a few of my favourites:

The gorgeous Jo and her handsome husband Alex had a wonderful wedding day, the second in a row for us at The White Hart in Lydgate, Oldham. I was ably assisted by Carlton from CWWeddings.
